The allocation of a place will be made in accordance with the arrangements set out in the relevant Information for Parents, the school's policy and the Wirral co-ordinated scheme.

Your right to express a preference for a school some distance from your child's home does not carry with it the right to free travel to that school. We determine eligibility for free travel in accordance with the Authority's Transport Policy.

By submitting this form you agree that you have read the Authority's Information for Parents and the admission policy for the school(s) for which you are indicating a preference. This information can be found online at www.wirral.gov.uk/schooladmissions or sent out on request by calling 0151 606 2000 during office hours. Wirral Council cannot be held responsible for misleading, out of date, or incorrect information held on cached pages accessed through or maintained by individual search engines, online forums or internet third party sites.

Information given in the Information for Parents and Policy documents relates to the school year of admission. However there may be changes before the beginning of that year or during that year. Please ensure you are reading the information relating to the year of entry for your child.

Wirral Council processes personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the School Admissions Regulations 2021. The information you provide on your preference form will be used by Wirral Local Authority and the Governing Bodies of primary and secondary schools as Admission Authorities. They will apply this information to their published admission policies in order to allocate school places for children. Where there is a need to co-ordinate admission arrangements with neighbouring local authorities pupil data may also be shared to ensure the efficient allocation of school places. Information about your child may also be shared with Members of Parliament or Councillors if you ask them to act on your behalf. Proof of address or eligibility for free school meals may be required and this might mean that we have to share the information you have provided on the parental preference form with other Departments of the Council or relevant government agencies in order to verify the authenticity of pupils addresses or income status.

If you have any questions or concerns about how your data is secured the Council's Data Protection Officer can be contacted by email at DPO@wirral.gov.uk or by writing to: Data Protection Officer, Treasury Building, Cleveland Street, Birkenhead, CH41 1AH.

The Admissions Authority has the right to withdraw any place offered on the basis of a fraudulent or intentionally misleading application.
